CRACKED ACTOR - A Film about David Bowie (PART 1)

Desc: In 1974, David Bowie embarked on an extensive tour of America. Performing over 70 concerts and taking 6 months, Bowie and his band stepped on stage each evening to deliver a highly tuned and finely timed performance that was the Diamond Dogs show. It included some of the most spectacular and expensive stage effects and scenery ever seen, even by today's standards.
In September of the same year, a BBC television film crew was invited to follow David Bowie mid-tour in and around Los Angeles during his week-long stay there, as part of the DIAMOND DOGS/PHILLY DOGS tour. This highly acclaimed 55-minute documentary film, entitled 'Cracked Actor' was first broadcast on 26th January 1975 as part of BBC-TV's Omnibus series.
It features interviews with Bowie, together with rare live concert footage of the Diamond Dogs show (which includes the breathtaking theatrical stage scenery and special effects!) filmed on 5th September at the UNIVERSAL AMPHITHEATRE, HOLLYWOOD.
Also included are live clips from D.A. Pennebaker's 1973 film of Ziggy Stardust's "Farewell" show at the Hammersmith Odeon, interviews with David's fans and followers, and excerpts from a session at Philadelphia's SIGMA SOUND STUDIOS during rehearsals for Young Americans.
All of this, interspersed with album tracks and images, make this probably the most in-depth, talked about and sought-after Bowie documentary ever made!

Snoop Dogg's Father Hood: Episode 1 - 2 of 3

Desc: Episode 1: Downward Dogg is the first episode. The episode opens with Choc studying in her room and she hears loud music being played. She searches through the house to find Snoop in his studio and she asks him to turn down the music. Snoop does, but when she leaves he turnes the music back on. Snoop then returns to the house to find the living room in a mess. He walks into the kitchen to find Boss Lady washing dishes and she reveals that their maid has quit due to the children making a mess. Snoop then finds Spank and tells him to clean up his mess. Spank says he would do it only if his dad wins a push up contest. Snoop wins but then realizes that he's not as strong as he used to be. Boss Lady then says that Snoop is stressed out and he needs to go see his doctor. Snoop reluctantly agrees to go.
Snoop and his bodyguard Keys head off to the doctor. Snoop introduces Keys as a big bodyguard with a little voice. They make a stop to get something to eat before heading into the doctor's office. Snoop arrives at the doctor's office and he tells her how stressed out he is. He asks the doctor if there would be any needles involved and the doctor responds by saying they might have to do a blood test. The doctor checks Snoop's blood pressure and then announces that she will have to do a blood test. She pulls out a syringe and tourniquet and Snoop starts to get scared. Snoop then reveals that he's been afraid of needles since the age of 4. The doctor tries to calm Snoop down but Snoop does not let her do the test. The doctor then suggests either yoga or acupuncture. Then Snoop makes a deal. If these treatments don't work then Snoop will allow the doctor to do the blood test.
Back at the house Boss Lady is scolding Anthony, who is a close friend of Spank and like an adopted son to the family. Boss Lady goes off to a spa treatment and places Anthony in charge. She also tells him to clean the house. Anthony agrees, but when he walks into the den, Rook and Spank are trashing the room with cans of silly string. Anthony then joins in the fun. Choc comes in and tries to tell them to stop but the boys don't listen.
Meanwhile, Snoop and Keys head off to yoga class and they show up late. They participate in the class and also notice the pretty yoga instructor. At the spa, Boss Lady tells her friends how messy the house is and that her maid has quit. Snoop finishes the class and then returns to the doctor and he tells her that the yoga class didn't work. She then reminds him about the deal they made and she says that he still has a chance to try the acupuncturist. Snoop and Keys arrive at the acupuncturist's office and Snoop starts to get afraid when he finds out the doctor is blind. The doctor tries to calm Snoop down, but when he pulls out the first pin, Snoop says that he needs to take off his jacket. Instead Snoop runs away scared. He runs away so fast that even his bodyguard and the camera crew have to catch up to him.
Back at the house, the children have made an even bigger mess and Anthony starts to panic as Boss Lady's return to the house is coming. They see her coming home and tells the children to pretend to be asleep so they won't get into trouble. Boss Lady returns home and sees the mess. She then gathers up the children and they leave together. They go to a restaurant to have a family meeting and the family agrees that they will do better in their cleaning chores. Snoop comes home and sees the mess that the children have left and in a flashback from his yoga class. He grabs the vacuum cleaner from a closet and starts to clean the house. The rest of the family then returns to see Snoop has cleaned the house himself. |

Justice For 9/11 (Part 1)

Desc: This interesting video takes a look at the culpability of some of the people who were responsible for preventing an attack such as 9/11. Even if we forget the mountain of evidence that shows that 9/11 was an inside job, the Bush administration should still be impeached and prosecuted for deliberately ALLOWING 9/11 to happen, and for the blatant cover up of their crimes. These criminals have also displayed what is referred to in the legal profession as "guilty demeanor", and so they should be investigated and suspended from duty at the VERY LEAST.
