Allah (SWT) says in Sura An Nur: On the day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions, also Allah (SWT) says in the Quran in a translated meaning: and they will say to their skins, why, why did you bear witness against us? And the skin will reply to them, they will say: Allah has caused us to speak and he causes all things to speak. Ya Allah, O Allah, help us and guide us before that day. O mankind, all your secrets will come out that day, all the things that you used to hide in this Dunya will be brought out in front of everyone, you play the game here in this Dunya my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, you fool the people around you, but on that day, your mouth will be sealed and your body will speak against you. O Muslims take heed and beware, that your prayer will be the first thing that is looked at on the day of judgement, as the Prophet (SAW) has explained to us, prayer is the first matter that will be judged on the day of resurrection. If it is accepted, then the rest of our actions will be accepted and if it is rejected, then the rest of our deeds will also be rejected. My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, how many Muslims do we know that do not pray, how many people do we know that say, they believe in Allah (SWT) but they do not worship him. How do we call ourselves Muslims, how do we call ourselves Muslim my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, if we are one of those people. The main pillar after the Shahadatain is As Salat, this pillar keeps us connected to Allah (SWT), this pillar keeps us away from haram and if we cannot do this, then all hope is gone for you on the day of resurrection. My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, when you have to face up to why you were so lazy, why you rejected the prayers my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, what will you say to Allah (SWT)? What will you say to Him? I was lazy, I didn't have time, I do not know what you will say to Allah (SWT) my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, for you rejecting the orders and commands of Allah, Allah (SWT) has said in the Quran, O Mankind, fear your lord and be dutiful to him, verily the earthquake of the hour is a terrible thing, this day you shall see, every nursing mother will forget her baby and every pregnant one will drop her load and you shall see mankind in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken but severe will be the torment of Allah (SWT), O Muslims, help yourselves on that day, O Muslim, help yourselves by returning to the path of Allah (SWT), perfect your deeds, worship Allah (SWT) and not forgetting to watch out for your prayers, inshallah. Desc: This series entitled "His Beautiful Names", presents the Most Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as found in the Quran and the Sunnah. Shaikh Dr. Suhaib Hasan, has relied on the verses of the Quran and the authentic Hadith of the Prophet [Peace be upon him] and, from these Ayat of Qur'an and Ahadith has given us to experience the Glory and Greatness of Allah Azza Wa Jall, and to derive many lessons and benefits from His Beautiful Names. In this first Episode, Shaikh Dr. Suhaib Hasan talks about the name "Allah" , as Allah Azza Wa Jall Says: "Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance." [Surah Ta Ha, Ayat 14] And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing. [Surah Al-A'raf, Ayat 180] He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. [Surah Al-Hashr, Ayat 22-24] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In these times when human beings live out their lives in abject state of fear, anxiety and misery as a result of the material and secular outlook which dominates their lives, there is the need to turn back to our Creator and learn from His Book, The Qur'an and from the Sunnah of His Prophet [PBUH] to get the Guidance for our salvation in this life and the Hereafter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Shaikh Dr. Suhaib Hasan Shaikh Suhaib Hasan was born in India but brought up and educated in Pakistan. After completing Islamic and Arabic studies (Fadil Arabic, 1960) and English language studies (B.A. 1962), he joined the newly-set-up Islamic University at Madinah, Saudi Arabia for higher studies in the faculty of Sharia. Here he studied under a galaxy of prominent scholars such as Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Muhammad Amin al-Shanqiti, Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani and later his father Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Hasan. After graduating in 1966, he began his career as a teacher and worker in Islamic Dawa at Nairobi, Kenya on behalf of Darul Ifta. In 1976, he moved to London where he engaged in Islamic Dawa especially through the forum of Al-Quran Society. Currently he is the chairman of Masjid & Madrasah al-Tawhid Trust and Secretary of the Islamic Sharia Council of Great Britain.
