Desc: Fatir: The Creator In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appoints the angels as messengers having wings two, three and four. He multiplies in creation what He wills. Allah is Able to do all things. That which Allah opens to mankind out of mercy, no-one can withhold it; and that which He withhold it; no-one can release after it. He is the Mighty the Wise. O mankind! Remember Allahs grace towards you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no god except Him. Where then are you turned? And if they deny you, (O Muhammad), messengers (Of Allah) were denied before you. To Allah all things are brought back. . O mankind! The promise of God is true. So let not the life of the word deceiver you, and let not the (avowed) deceiver deceive you with regard to Allah. The devil is an enemy for you, so treat him as an enemy. And no burdened soul can bear anothers burden, and if one who is heavily laden calls for (help with) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he (to whom he calls) may be a relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who grows (in goodness), grows only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). To Allah is the destiny. The blind man is not equal to the seer; Nor Is darkness (the same as) light; Nor is the shadow equal to the dead Allah makes whom He will hear. You cannot reach those who are in the graves. You are just a warner. We have sent with truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, and there is not a nation but a warner has passed among them. And if they deny you, those before them also denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs (of Allahs dominion), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence (loathing)! Have you not seen that Allah causes water to fall from the sky, and We produce with it fruit of different colour; and among the hills are streaks white and red, of diverse hues, and (others) raven-black; And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, different colour? The learned among His bondsmen fear Allah alone. Allah is Mighty, Forgiving. Those who read the Scripture of Allah, and establish worship, and spend of that which We have bestowed on them secretly and openly, they look forward to never-ending gain, That He will pay them their wages and increase them with His grace. He is Forgiving, Responsive. AS for that which We inspire in you of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was between his hands. Allah is indeed Observer, Seer of His worshipers. Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance to those whom We elected of Our bondsmen. But of them there are some who wrong themselves and of them there are some who are lukewarm, and of them there are some who outstrip (others) through good deeds, by Allahs permission. That is the great favour! Gardens of Eden! Desc: Prophet Isa (PBUH) (Jesus) informs his apostles that he must go so that Allah sends the comforter, the Paraclete, the universal and mighty prophet and messenger of God who shall guide us all to eternal salvation. Although at several other places in the Quran there are clear pointers to show that like the men the jinn too are a creation who have been endowed with freedom of will and action and are accountable, who have been granted the freedom of belief and unbelief, of obedience and disobedience, and among them too there are the believers and the unbelievers, the obedient and the rebellious, as among human beings, and among them too there exist such groups as have believed in the Prophets sent by God and in the Divine Books, this Surah clearly points out that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Quran is meant both for men and for jinn and that his Prophethood is not restricted to human beings alone. Although in the beginning of the Surah the address is directed only to human beings, for to them only belongs the vicegerency of the earth, among them only have the Messengers of Allah been raised, and in their tongues only have the Divine Books been revealed, yet from verse 13 onward both the men and the jinn have been addressed and one and the same invitation has been extended to both.

Desc: Abandoning Ahlul-bidah [people of innovation] & their associates. Allahs Messenger (salallahalayhiwasalaam) said, Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allah, His Angels, and the whole of mankind. (Bukhari & Muslim) Qaadee Aboo Yalaa (d. 333H) said, There is consensus (Ijmaa) among the Sahaabah and the Taabieen as regards to dissociating and cutting off from the innovators (Hajarul-Mubtadi, p32) Al-Baghawee (d.535H) said, And the Sahaabah, the Taabieen, their successors and the Scholars of the Sunnah passed away while they were upon this, united and unanimously agreed upon having enmity towards the People of Innovation and fleeing from them. (Sharhus-Sunnah: 1/227) Al-Baghawee also said, & the Prophet (salallahalayhiwasalaam) has informed about the splitting of this Ummah and the appearance of desires and innovations within it. & he ruled that deliverance would be for the one who followed his Sunnah and the Sunnah of his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all). Therefore it is necessary for the Muslim, when he sees a man engaging himself with anything from the desires and innovations, believing in them, or belittling anything from the Sunnah, that he flees from him, disowns him and leaves him dead or alive. So he does not give salaam to him when he meets him and nor does he respond to him if he salutes first until the person abandons his innovations and returns to the truth. (Sharhus-Sunnah: 1/224) Ibn Qudaamah (d.620H) said, The Salaf used to forbid sitting with the people of Innovations. Looking into their books and listening to their words. (Al-Aadaabus-Shareeah: 1/263) Ibn Abbaas (d.68H) said, INDEED THE MOST DETESTABLE OF THINGS TO ALLAH ARE THE INNOVATIONS (Bayhaqee in his Sunan). Al-Hasan al-Basree (d.110H) said, DO NOT SIT WITH THE PEOPLE OF INNOVATION & DESIRES, NOR ARGUE WITH THEM, NOR LISTEN TO THEM (Reported by ad-Daarimee in his Sunan, & al-Laalikaaee).

(1) He it is Who hath sent among the unlettered ones a messenger of their own, to recite unto them His revelations and to make them grow, and to teach them the Scripture and wisdom, though heretofore they were indeed in error manifest, (2) Along with others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise. (3) That is the bounty of Allah; which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is of Infinite bounty. (4) The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. (5) Say (O Muhammad): O ye who are Jews! If ye claim that ye are favoured of Allah apart from (all) mankind, then long for death if ye are truthful. (6) But they will never long for it because of all that their own hands have sent before, and Allah is Aware of evil-doers. (7) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! the death from which ye shrink will surely meet you, and afterward ye will be returned unto the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do. (8) O ye who believe! When the call is heard for the prayer of the day of congregation, haste unto remembrance of Allah and leave your trading. That is better for you if ye did but know. (9) And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, that ye may be successful. (10) But when they spy some merchandise or pastime they break away to it and leave thee standing. Say: That which Allah hath is better than pastime and than merchandise, and Allah is the best of providers. (11)
