The Hitman and Her at Bury, 1990 (#3)

Desc: From June 1990, here are some more clips of The Hit Man and Her show from The Roxy in Bury. This late night TV show is hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan. The smooch dancing is to Lonnie Gordon "Beyond Your Wildest Dreams". And the show ends with everyone dancing to the 1990 f/ball anthem "World In Motion" by England/ New Order (the 1990 World Cup Final was only a week away). Sadly this is another H&H show where the broadcast tapes have been wiped, so this is possibly an exclusive. Source: off-air VHS.
Note the male dancer on the front row on stage with black t-shirt (and no cap). It's Jason Orange in his pre Take That days. In fact Clive (Wiggy) was away this week, so Jason and Neil were in charge of the dancing. Also in the line-up are regulars Stix, and Lynn & Nicki. See more from this show in parts 1 & 2. |
