Pokemon D/P Walkthrough Part 9: Heading towards Floaroma Town

Desc: This is Part 9 of my ongoing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl walkthrough.
In this video, I make my way through the Ravaged Path, head up Route 204 and make my way to Floaroma Town.

Stage Clear reward: Fox joins the team
:::WALKTHROUGH:::
You fight a boss battle with Rayquaza.
Take a hit-and-run approach against it.
Attack it, then quickly roll to the screen's opposite side.
When Rayquaza goes underground, continue moving to avoid taking damage when it resurfaces.
When Rayquaza is in the air, roll on the ground to avoid damage when it comes down.
Toward the fight's end, Rayquaza starts to fly horizontally across the screen.
Jump to avoid it when this happens, and continue the hit-and-run strategy when it lands again.
Defeat Raquaza and head through the door.
Break the blocks to your right and continue down the path.
Head under the ramp and into the blue door.
Move left to pick up the item box, then continue to your right, down to the lower level, and into the next door.
When you appear again, you are in a dark area.
Move as far to the left as possible, and use a short jump into an upwards smash attack to illuminate the area.
Climb the platforms and move left to find another blue door.
Head right and destroy the breakable blocks to find another door.
Enter the door and continue to the right beyond the next door to find an item box.
Grab the box, then head back to the left and enter the first door you come to.
Move to the right and defeat the Goombas to reveal a switch box.
Break the switch box and head back to the door you came from. |
